Have you ever been struck by an idea that was so well articulated, you were left wondering why you had never thought about things in that way before?

I remember seeing a poster by advertising agency Wieden + Kennedy a few years ago. The poster was for Nike and it read “yesterday you said tomorrow.” At that moment, I was struck by the most emotive articulation of procrastination I have ever had.

Today, this poster popped back in to my mind. But this time, it didn’t help me probe my own procrastination, it struck me as a neat definition of the difference between digital advertising and traditional advertising.
