3D printing makes further inroads into the fashion industry with "Transforming" stop-motion flick

The team behind “Transforming” see the future of painted nails, and that future is printed to order.

3D-printed artificial nails are the next evolution in the ancient art of nail decoration, allowing for more detailed and ambitious designs because of the precision printing it offers. The team use a ProJet 660 Pro brand printer to individually create each nail, and have created a stop-motion animation video demonstrating the process.

Every frame of this stop-motion animation was made by printer, or by hand.
