PSFK Watch Week: Smartwatches are for bite-sized bits of news, not 1,000-word manifestos

Whether you like it or not, the Apple Watch and your overflowing closet of shoes share similarities—mainly, there’s not enough room for everything you want to show off.

Unlike edgeless phone screens and infinite scroll, the smartwatch presents serious limitations to the type (and amount) of content that can be displayed and digested.

In preparation for the April 24 release of the Apple Watch, PSFK presents Watch Week, a weeklong focus on watch technology and design. In this series, we speak to different creatives (from typographers to product designers) about their strategies, challenges and opportunities when designing for smartwatches.
