Thermo Tent offers internal climate control

This reporter has a friend who claims he would love camping if they would make it easier to set up a tent in his five-star hotel room. Thermo Tent may not be that kind of camping, but it may well be the next best thing.

The tent was designed with the help adventurer Pat Falvey, who has used tents in the Himalayas and at the South Pole, and uses a new insulation method to keep in warmth, keep out cold and muffle sounds when camping in a noisy environment.

Though the specs are technical, Thermo Tent is basically two tents with one set up inside the other. Air between the two sets of tent walls are breathable, but made of TTinsulate insulation which is air-permeable but has very low thermal conductivity.
