Unbooked studio slots, be gone: Studiotime pairs musicians with recording studios

Studiotime gives musicians and other recording artists a place to practice and record wherever available.

Working from a model inspired by accommodations phenomenon Airbnb, Studiotime connects artists with sound studios near them who have unbooked studio slots. Listings by various studios describe the facilities, list open slots, and how much artists can expect to pay for blocks of up to eight hours.

Users log on to Studiotime’s website and are immediately greeted by authors from studios looking to book time. A filter bar on the left lets searchers choose options they prefer including price, location and studio type (a measure ranging from “Home/Project Studio” to “Top Line Studio.”
