BBC Worldwide releases a hand-picked episode bundle of Doctor Who on file-sharing technology platform

Doctor Who, the longest running sci-fi series in the history of television, will experiment with new-age distribution models for the digital consumer. In the first of its kind for British TV content, BBC has released a BitTorrent Bundle of a ten-episode box set specifically curated with show highlights and exclusive video clips.

For $12, viewers can download and stream the Doctor Who collection, a celebration of a decade of the new Doctor after the show had a twelve year hiatus. A preview of the first episode and a personal message from Peter Capaldi is available for free, which enables viewers to get a taste of the content prior to purchasing.
