Banking on Food Truck Model, Florist Serves Bouquets Curbside
The Uprooted Flower Truck will offer a rotating selection of quality flowers in NYC
A mobile florist is launching in New York City on April 24, which will offer a simple and fun way to purchase flowers. Just like getting a treat from an ice cream van, customers will be able to visit the truck in different locations to buy a beautiful bouquet.
The Uprooted Flower Truck, created by long-term couple Ashley Custer and Kristin Heckler, aims to provide quality, design and convenience while reducing flower waste. The couple noticed a gap in the New York floral scene, with florists forced to pay high rent and waste costs, resulting in higher costs for the customer.
