Ten One Design's trackpad pen and app will get current Macbook users drawing again

For those who love to draw by hand on their computers, phones and tablets, one inbuilt feature has always been noticeably missing from Apple products, despite their loving attention to multi-touch gestures: pressure sensitivity. That is, until the recent announcement of the new MacBook, which finally offers what it calls Force Touch technology, with some exciting implications for use in user interfaces – as well as for artists who don't want to feel dependent on a third-party pen.

Developed by Ten One Design, the Inklet Trackpad Tablet app, and the Pogo pen that comes with it, simulate this functionality for those of us stuck with older devices, allowing you to use the sensations and hand positions you're used to.
