As part of the three-day PSFK Conference 2015, the PSFK Labs team carefully curated a retail tour of some of the most innovative spaces in one of New York City's premier shopping districts. Scroll below for a peek inside several pioneering companies in the neighborhood.


Having a retail store with little to no inventory is the concept behind 3D printer company Makerbot's Soho location. Items can be produced on the spot from a bank of Replicator machines, and we were told the service is popular with design students, local architects and industrial designers. The tour of the space showed the creation process from 3D scanning to printing through what a final product looks like.
