Inspired by the surface of butterfly wings, Bubbles has the potential to transform the way we take in air and urban environments

Air pollution is one of the biggest global killers, affecting over 100 million people each year. Orproject, an innovation firm that focuses on interiors and architecture with offices in London, Beijing and New Delhi aims to combat this with a new project named Bubbles.

The team is focusing on developing countries like India and China, as their sky-high populations amount to increased pollution comparatively to other countries around the globe. The proposal suggests construction of an enclosed park or community within these kinds of cities where the air is filtered, and temperature and humidity are controlled throughout the year.
