During last week's conference, the doodle artist extraordinaire and attendees sketched each in 60-second bursts

NYC-based artist Jon Burgerman loves to doodle, but his scribbles don’t signify boredom. Quite the opposite, in fact: he’s “interested in drawing as a means of thinking,” and stresses that creative exercise is just as important as those other ways in which we keep our bodies and minds in trim.

As a busy fine and commercial artist, Burgerman frequently reaps the benefits of drawing —”a [fun and] important tool”—but few among the rest of us get to engage our minds this way very often.
