In a nearly-hidden corner of the vast blogging sphere that is Tumblr sits a merchandise store full of hidden treasures: colorfully animated tee-shirts, neon totes and ‘ I ❤ Net Neutrality’ pins. With ten items for sale, it’s almost so small that one might browse over it entirely while trolling through the platform’s endless GIFS, tunes, and bright colors.

In August 2014, Tumblr opened its online retail shop doors as an extension of the brand’s digital persona, featuring Tumblr-inspired designs from an in-house creative team, as well as pooled from the platform’s diverse community of artists.
