Although a healthy work-life balance is essential to overall well-being, so few attain this goal. Eighty percent feel stressed on the job, and the average person spends 1/10 to 1/5 of their time doing unpaid work.

In addition to work, play is being co-opted by digital screens which can have the effect of removing us from the moments occurring around us. Although about 76 percent of Americans think being constantly connected is mostly a good thing, 27 percent feel they spend too much time on their phone.
