The nexpaq is a phone case that can add a laser pointer, temperature monitor, and an amplified speaker to your device

Startup nexpaq is creating phone cases that can add new features to your phone. It’s a lot like Project Ara's modular concept except it works with an existing phone. The case fits snug on popular smartphone models, both Android and iOS, and will have six slots at the back for the modules.

Modules can be swapped between Android and iOS making it easy to share the attachments with friends.

The startup has already developed 12 working modules for the nexpaq. The lis includes a laser pointer ($14), shortcut keys ($14), additional battery power ($14), card reader ($14), LED flashlight ($14), breathalyzers ($19), amplified speaker ($19), temperature and humidity monitors ($19) and an air quality sensor ($24).
