Universal Parks & Resort will soon be making the virtual thrills associated with Mario (and more) a go-to attraction

Nintendo is adding theme park rides to Universal Parks & Resort.

Today Nintendo’s announcement to begin working with Universal marks another movement of improving interaction with fans, who will be able to see their favorite characters in the park alongside other attractions.

Famous for creating characters such as Mario, Link, and Samus, Nintendo has a deep catalog for Universal to pick and choose for rides. For their part, Universal has established a long track record of making successful spinoffs of others' intellectual property both one the big screen and in rides at their parks.
