Brooklyn Expo Center
For 2015, BKLYN Designs relocates from its long time home in Dumbo to Greenpoint. The fair was founded by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce in 2003 and has become an important showcase of design talent from the Brooklyn creative community. The show focuses more on small production and hand-crafted work ranging from furniture and lighting to glassware and jewelry. Beyond the exhibition, there is a lecture series with highlights including a discussion on fashion and wearable tech, Brooklyn’s role in transforming manufacturing, and design and architecture filmmaking.
