Sculptural Jacket Changes Color Depending on Wearer’s Mood
Creative collective The Unseen and tech agency Holition collaborate to create coded couture with chameleonic ink
There are a lot of sayings linking color to emotion, from seeing red to feeling blue, but these have been hypothetical up until now. A new project by exploration house The Unseen promises to make these come to life, with a garment which changes color depending on the wearer’s mood.
The London-based studio collaborated with tech agency Holition to create the jacket, which converts digital data to physical form. It consists of a flexible ceramic material which is infused with chameleonic ink, created by the studio’s founder, alchemist Lauren Bowker.
