psfkUNFILTERED: Staff Writer Simone Spilka tries her sleep at a not-so traditional overnight stay

In the midst of New York City's chaos and noise, does the promise of a smartbed really mean a next level of R&R? I try out YOTEL‘s recent ‘SmartBed' initiative to better understand how hotel rooms exclusively cater to the modern traveler.

Upon check-in, YOTEL offers automated services so guests can bypass the front desk experience at their convenience. The entire process takes under one minute.
