The brand creates Creative Space, a venue for young innovators to find sustainable solutions to environmental issues

The Absolut Company is transforming old storage containers into a hub called Creative Space, where creative minds can get together in a “hackathon” to find new ways of recycling Absolut Vodka glass bottles and come up with other sustainable innovations to solve environmental problems.

Creative Space will become a venue for selected innovators— designers, engineers, and students—to participate in a hackathon that aims to find solutions to environmental challenges.

Creative Space accepted applications from interested innovators from May 11 to June 1. Selected innovators will participate in the first hackathon, which will run from June 12 to 14 and will focus on finding solutions to the challenges that The Absolut Company faces. These challenges include minimizing the company’s environmental impact and finding ways to encourage more people to reuse Absolut Vodka bottles. During the hackathon, experts from the company will be there to work with the participants by sharing their knowledge and insights of the company.
