Ad executive uses the photo sharing platform to tackle modern challenges in advertising

Rubin Postaer and Associates (RPA) SVP ECD Jason Sperling is publishing his 165-page book all on Instagram. The ad industry maven will upload animated illustrations with pages of his book over the course of several months.

The book is entitled “Look At Me When I’m Talking to You” and is filed under the handler @lookatmebook. By using the platform, Sperling aims to spark a conversation amongst members of the ad industry and consumers.

There is a lot to talk about in the advertising industry. Jason Sperling highlights that today’s consumer has developed the ability to ignore the advances of advertising. Even though the welcoming arms of customers have long been closed shut, many of advertising’s enduring rules of thumb remain anchored on days past.
