Graphic designer Paulo Oliveira imagined the brand re-creating popular club uniforms

The uniforms of sports clubs are usually defined by their team colors. The designs or sponsorship logos may change every year or season, but the team colors remain the same.

Paulo Oliveira, art director of Lisbon ad agency UZINA, has created a series that reimagines the designs of football club jerseys if they were made by color brand Pantone.

According to Oliveira, who is a fan of Portuguese soccer team SL Benfica, he imagined if Pantone could make soccer club jerseys and what if all soccer fans could ask for the Pantone team colors by their name. He said, “That's the idea. If all the soccer fans could ask for the Pantone color it could be a huge insight for the brand and a different kind and lively and exciting use of color.”
