The world can be hard on the ears sometimes. Traffic or subway noise, loud music, crying babies and more add to the assault on our eardrums. Noise-cancelling headphones help reduce some of these, but they can’t add reverb to a concert, filter out crying babies, or just generally turn down the volume.
