The concept, teased at a global Tech World conference, can also track and analyze fitness data

A number of product concepts were recently demonstrated at Lenovo Tech World, the company’s first global technology event. They provided a look at upcoming research and technology projects, including smart shoes that can communicate the wearer’s mood to those around them.

The smart shoes are one of Lenovo’s Internet of Things products, leveraging the cloud to tie together hardware, software and applications in a new way. They display a person’s mood on a small screen embedded on the side, with the demonstration showing icons such as a smiley face and a heart to display feeling happy or in love.
