Times 4 Coffee Table compartmentalizes your homewares for a perfectly sectioned day

Your house has a breakfast nook, a dinner table, and a late night couch: without our realizing it, furniture has become compartmentalized by its time of use during the day. Though this segmentation has its upsides, it creates a unique situation of “furniture waste.” Portuguese-born designer Gonçalo Campos explores the relation between furniture and time with his Times 4 Coffee Table, a piece that reveals its contents depending on the time of day.

The coffee table has four compartments that rotate open, revealing stored items as colorful slices of a daily activity cake.
