While a first generation of skin health apps have focused on providing tips and recipes, a new generation is going a step further by integrating facial recognition technology, augmented reality and skin analysis.

Leading augmented reality company, ModiFace, has been focused on beauty, retail and medical industries since the mid-2000s. We first wrote about their virtual dressing rooms and have been following their progress through work with the likes of Sephora, Allergan, Procter and Gamble, L’Oreal, and Unilever.
