The Dandy Lab is a laboratory-modelled store that adapts a variety of tech touchpoints to create a hybrid shopping experience

The Dandy Lab is the best of both worlds: men’s fashion inspired by decades past and forward-looking tech that defines the entire experience. The pop-up has wonderfully crafted collections on board, browsed by seeing and touching but also by the swiping of a touchscreen.

The store, which will be open for seven months before moving into a more permanent space, is what it calls a laboratory. The silhouette is of a brick-and-mortar store, adding features that would matter to the generation it’s targeting: wireless charging pads, an interactive styling wall, virtual showrooms to name a few. This digital dimension hopes to build a more intimate connection between objects and the shopper, revealing stories that might otherwise not fit a hang tag.
