W.B.B.R. plays a pump-up song on your way up the bridge and a cool-down on the way down, changing music every day for added inspiration

Normal radio got you feeling too mainstream? You're in luck: W.B.B.R. is a music station that's only accessible on the Williamsburg Bridge.

The station, created by ad agency Sid Lee for UNO!, a Brooklyn-based record label, works through an app to play an upbeat, motivational song as you go up the bridge and a chill track after you reach the halfway point “for quiet reflection or for LOLs.”

The team at Sid Lee tells PSFK they were inspired both by pirate radio stations broadcasting music for a specific location, as well as their own commutes across the bridge:
