If tech analyst Trip Chowdhry's predictions hold true, iWindshield may be coming to a car near you

Apple could soon enter the market with a new heads up display (HUD). According to tech analyst Trip Chowdry, the infotech giant might be putting many of the concepts used in Google Glass into a car windshield display that includes both car performance information and augmented reality like GPS .

Trip Chowdhry, along with publications like the Washington Post, revealing tantalizingly specific details despite how cagey Apple has been in response. He reports the device could stretch from 27 to 50 inches across, and will first be tested on television screens before Apple seeks partners in the automotive industry.
