Cover is an app that lets you pay for your meal virtually, no loose paper required

Cover settles the restaurant bill with a simple tap on the screen. Now available in key cities, it's set to expand and offer its cashless, NFC-less, card-less payment gateway through the country.

The service comes in a free-to-use app that allow you to pay for your check with enrolled credit cards or Apple Pay. Everytime you enter a restaurant, the app will ask you to either join other tables (if you’re joining a party) or create your own (if you got there first). Just tell waiters you’re paying with Cover and the system will automatically forward your bill to your phone once your done eating. The website says it's designed for quick use: “Cover helps you find the right restaurant and then stays in your pocket or purse while you eat.”
