Gamers can now save their Minecraft worlds onto USB sticks that fit around wrists and that can be stylized through pixel displays

Gameband, a wearable USB branded for Minecraft users, is evidence that wearables is reaching a point of maturity not entirely dependent of the maturity of their prime users.

The wristband is really a USB flash drive attached to a bracelet, with cloud-based backup hardwired in that lets young gamers take their cherished games anywhere.

The Minecraft branding comes in the styling—including a pixellated sleeve at the plug-in point and an LED display that shows themed animations or pictures along with the time. Gamers can transport their own Minecraft world from home to gaming meetups without losing a standard thumb drive on the way.
