Abstract_ allows you to use your facial expressions and personal story as a pattern for your clothes

Nowadays people highly value freedom of expression, particularly in term of fashion and style. They see the clothes they wear as an extension of their personality. However, individual style can only go so far. Project Abstract_ takes personalization to a whole new level by analyzing a person’s facial expression and written story to determine the color and pattern of the fabric used.

The project is a collaboration from Julie Helles Eriksen (fashion designer), Bjørn Karmann (interaction designer) and Kristine Boesen (textile designer). The group wanted to give customers the power to control the design of what they wear and the customer involvement is as authentic as it can get.
