Can't find a recycling bin anywhere? The Intellibins application plots where you can drop off your plastic bags, electronics, and outdated newspapers

Even the most environmentally friendly among us has trouble finding public recycling options from time to time. Intellibins wants to eliminate that problem by helping you find the closest recycling location by using your mobile device.

According to Intellibins co-founder Kathryn Hurley, the idea for the application was born at a Google Glass hackathon. The team had 48 hours to build a Google Glass application that would make New York City a more sustainable society. Hurley’s team decided to focus on recycling.
