The Tribeca Film Festival Calls for Virtual Reality Submissions
Get your VR cam ready—The Tribeca Film Festival announces call for submissions with a focus on virtual reality and immersive technology
The Tribeca Film Festival has announced the dates for its 15th annual event. Held from April 13-24, Spring Studios has been selected as the hub of the event for the second year in a row. The studio serves as a destination for festivalgoers, as well as a host to panels, an awards night and parties (of course). TFF has released a call for submissions; narrative and documentary features, short films, and, note, exhibits in interactive storytelling are welcome.
The festival will continue to feature its Storyscapes program for the fourth year in a row. By highlighting interactive storytelling, Virtual Reality showcases and the Tribeca Film Institutes Interactive program, Storyscapes goes beyond advances in CGI to explore technology's impact on immersive entertainment.
