The WalkCar is an electric scooter the size of a small laptop, that rides like a skateboard and weighs a total of 6.6 pounds

A bag will now house a piece of transportation. The size of a laptop, the WalkCar, by way of Cocoa Motors, allows users to stand atop of an electric device and ride it like a skateboard. The rectangular platform has four wheels driven by an electric motor powerful enough to push a large person carrying a heavy load uphill. Stability and steering are handled similarly to a Segway.

A rider turns his shoulders and the WalkCar detects the resulting shift of weight, responding with a turn in the indicated direction. Braking is similarly intuitive and rapidly responsive.
