"Blastosphere" is an art show dedicated to garments that blur the line between the digital and physical space

Digital art is already pushing the boundaries when it comes to the experience of perceiving and owning art. But the pieces that visitors recently experienced at The Gallery at Ace Hotel explored what happens when the digital sphere and physical space collide.


During the opening reception for “Blastosphere: Digital Art Becomes 3D Fashion,” curious art lovers got the chance to try on a series of garments encoded with augmented reality. Each piece consist of an IRL design and a mesmerizing, moving animation seen through AR.
