The Ollie Collection from RockPaperRobot features a transformable chair and table that tucks away accordion-like

Attendees at this year’s International Contemporary Furniture Fair watched as a man turned what looked like a flat wooden surface into a fully functional chair complete with legs. The Ollie collection by RockPaperRobot consists of the two very versatile items that collapse in an almost accordion-like motion. One minute they look like standard pieces of furniture and the other they seem like flat pieces of material, easy to stow away for later uses.

Curious members of the audience took their turn sitting in the chair, some perching on it hesitantly as if afraid it might fall apart. But the chair—and the table that also folded up against the wall—served its purpose and proved that furniture can adapt to any shape with the right creativity.
