Sleep as Cool as the Flip Side of the Pillow
Beat the heat with an HIBR pillow that cools itself through a bead-injected foam that remains cooler than body temperature
If you’ve ever tried to sleep on a hot summer night, you know the experience of flipping over your pillow to feel the wonderfully cool reverse side. HIBR pillows use high-tech components so you don’t have to flip them.
Each pillow is stuffed with beads that change their thermal nature when compressed by the weight of the head by converting into a liquid. This heat transfer wicks away body heat so the pillow always feels cool to the touch. Where old-style feather pillows—and even memory foam or gel capsule pillows—absorb your body heat as you rest your head, an HIBR pillow does not. It remains cooler than normal body temperature and cools the body for a better night’s sleep.
HIBR’s creators developed the pillow in response to other sleep-aid technologies like smart mattresses, special lighting and white noise. While these other aids can improve a night’s sleep, nothing can ruin your rest like an uncomfortable head and neck. The HIBR pillow goes straight to what its designers felt was the core of many people’s sleep issues.
The HIBR website offers three models of pillow. The largest is in the shape of what you probably think of when somebody says “pillow.” The other two—the side pillow and silhouette pillow—offer different shapes for people with different preferred sleeping positions.
The side pillow is shaped for those who sleep on their sides, built to hold a head that is farther from the mattress than a regular pillow.
The silhouette is for people with neck, shoulder or back pain. It has a concave surface to better support the sleeping head and minimize accidental movement during sleep.
Each pillow is designed and made in the United States. Ordering from their website costs $79, and ships free anywhere in the USA.
