To address blood shortage in Romania, the Untold Festival offered free one day tickets in exchange for plasma

Concert and music festival tickets can be worth an arm and a leg depending on the many high profile artists attending. The high cost typically keeps the more cash-strapped music lovers from the festivities. However, for the Untold Festival in Transylvania, entrance to the event will only cost you some blood.

This Romanian musical festival allowed willing participants to donate blood in order to get free or discounted tickets to the event. Playing off the theme of vampires, for which Transylvania is renowned ever since Bram Stoker wrote Dracula, the festival worked in conjunction with The National Institute for Blood Transfusions and ad agency McCann Bucharest.
