Wristband Reminds You to Move When You’re Inactive
The Polar Loop 2 detects daily activity and measures steps, distance, calories and sleep with accurate, individualized algorithms
Polar has introduced the follow-up to its popular Polar Loop activity tracker, which monitors the wearer’s daily activity, workouts and sleep. The Polar Loop 2 is designed to be worn 24/7 and gently vibrates to remind the user to move if they’ve been sitting for a long period of time.
It also displays incoming calls, messages, and calendar alerts to keep the user up to date. Pairing with the Polar, the H7 Bluetooth Smart heart rate sensor provides real-time, accurate health details.
When the Polar Loop 2 detects daily activity, it separates it into five intensity levels: resting, sitting, low, medium, and high. The activity tracker also measures steps, distance, calories and sleep with accurate and individualized algorithms based on thorough research conducted by Polar. Users can enter info such as their age, gender, weight and choice of activity level in order to receive individual daily activity goals.
