Not intended as an advocacy app, DoNotPay helps drivers fight unjust parking tickets with help of Google Street View

Parking tickets you deserve are frustrating enough, but when you get an unjust parking ticket, the injustice often doesn't outweigh the trouble you must take to fight the ticket in the courts. DoNotPay, a web service designed by Joshua Browder, may be the answer to this age-old problem.

If a user finds they've gotten a ticket they feel is unwarranted, they activate DoNotPay on their smartphone. The app then zooms in on the location described by the vehicle's owner and uses Google Street View and combines it with pictures from the time of the ticket and helps use this as evidence to appeal the ticket in court. Using information stored about municipal courts, it can generate a winning appeal in under one minute.
