Sunscreen Created by Surfers is War Paint Against the Sun
MANDA Sun Paste uses natural and ray-fighting ingredients long used by the indigenous cultures of Myanmar
Fed up with chemical sunscreens, Encinitas, California-based MANDA has created a natural sunscreen alternative. MANDA Sun Paste is comprised of eight, all-natural, organic ingredients, and uniquely formulated to be highly-waterproof/sweatproof with the goal of outperforming anything else on the market.
The product is a result of years of experimentation by Co-founder and director/professional surfer Cyrus Sutton developing his own sunscreen to combat the long days he and his friends spend outside in the sun and ocean. “I wasn’t happy with the sunblocks on the market. I couldn’t pronounce a lot of the ingredients,” Sutton recalls. “I didn’t know how they were made and that’s evolved to today to MANDA Sun Paste.”
