Several customizing services, such as a stamp bar, make a U.S. debut in MUJI's largest North American store to date

Fans of the Japanese lifestyle brand MUJI have a new must-visit destination in NYC.

The retailer opened a MUJI flagship store location adjacent to Bryant Park with over 10,000 square feet of floor space spread across two floors. This is the 10th store they have opened in the United States since it began an initial selling partnership with the MOMA Design Store a decade ago. Up to now, locations on the east and west coasts have been more MUJI-lite versions of the stores in Japan. The larger size of the new location represents the closest translation yet of the offer and shopping experience of the Japan locations.
