Startup Doorman allows you to schedule shipments to arrive when it's convenient for you

Everyone has suffered the annoyance of coming home to a missed package slip on their door. But the pains of working with shipment companies can extend even further than that—from stolen packages to traveling to a remote warehouse for packages to even some of the UPS nightmares recently broadcast on Reddit, the business of receiving large items through the mail is one giant, obstacle-ridden nightmare.

Doorman, based in San Francisco, is looking to stick its hand into an inefficient system by eliminating the hassle that comes with receiving packages.
