This DIY kit company gets a presidential thumbs-up

Tinkering with electronics is a challenge that most people would not even want to dive into. But what if building electronic components become as simple as any other DIY kit out there David Brenner and Oscar Pedroso came up with Thimble, a guided tutorial kit that will help children and adults build their own electronic devices. It is a monthly subscription that aims to inspire and encourage more people to learn and discover the beautiful world of electronics.

Brenner and Pedroso wanted users to learn the fundamentals of electronics. That hopefully, by the end of every kit, a user’s confidence in building his-her own electronic devices grows, and that eventually, will no longer rely on Thimble kits. But of course, to make this happen, users must be guided step-by-step first.
