Football helmet deforms upon impact, like memory foam for the head

Contact sports like American Football are huge in the United States and this is why professional athletes continue to put their lives on the line every game—but, at what cost? A concussion? A serious brain injury? Worse? According to VICIS, football helmets haven’t changed enough. The longer athletes wait for helmets to be improved, the longer they are at risk every single time they step on the field.
