GE and Thrillist team up to push the limits when it comes to science of food

Attempting to create the spiciest hot sauce known to man comes with a unique challenge: figuring out just how to package all that heat. GE recently teamed up with Thrillist to do just that, creating unique packaging that can withstand more than temperatures of nearly 3,000 degrees.

After hosting Science of Barbecue experience at SXSW last year, GE decided to continue its experiments in food and science. This year it set its sights on a new goal: creating a hot sauce bottle that could house an insanely fiery pepper.
