London Bus Stops Are Experimenting with E-Paper Displays
The solar-powered displays reveal important information like arrival times and routes
In any major city, commuters need a few essential bits of information to plan their tips. And while many savvy citizens use transit websites and apps to find arrival times and plan routes, seeing this information at the actual bus stop can prove invaluable.
To make the commute easier, Transport for London is experimenting with solar-powered, e-paper displays. At the moment, only four bus stops use the solar-powered displays but the chance of seeing these at more bus stops in the near future is a very real possibility.
