Make everyday objects, like lamps and cars, do your bidding

The result of three years of research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Reality Editor wants to let you turn off the light switch in your bedroom without having to lift your head off the pillow or set your feet on the ground.

Billed as a new tool for empowering users to connect with physical objects in the virtual world, the Reality Editor combines human spatial reasoning and muscle memory with open-source technology to enable its users to change the functionality of their everyday objects in order to suit their needs.
