Able to transform into an artificial bay, boats and ships will be able to find shelter in this
Thanks to its linear structure developed around a connective “vertebrae spine,” engineer and architect Gianluca Santosuosso’s MORPHotel is a highly adaptive concept hotel able to adjust its shape to weather and site morphology (hence the name).
Designed for travel, the ‘artificial organism’ surfs the world’s oceans and docks throughout its trips to provide guests unique experiences at every stop, much like a cruise ship. The catch is that unlike a ship, the MORPHotel floats with currents rather than cruising freely, offering an eco-friendly means of travel that can subsequently operate every day of the year.
