For 8 million refugee children, not all stories bear fairy godmothers

More often than not, animated films convey stories meant for younger generations that serve as fun and entertainment. Recent events, however, emphasize that not all children lead the same lives. While some kids enjoy fairly pleasant lives, others find themselves struggling to stay alive amidst political turmoil.

To highlight the stories of these brave children, UNICEF is unveiling a series of animated videos that focuses on Syrian refugee children. “Unfairy Tales” shares the real stories of children who experience treacherous journeys.
